1202, 356

The other day, Ludwig drove around in Missoula under his own power, the first time he's been able to do so in over 3 years. While there he parked close by an older cousin. (Actually I'm not sure how to differentiate a real one from a kit car without untoward poking around; if it's just a kit, it's not his cousin but rather a sister who's undergone a lot of cosmetic surgery.)

New Rear Rubber

Ludwig's rear tires got put on his front and he got new rears today.

Next month we'll get two more to match.

I'm Fixing a Hole Where the Rain Gets In

Melissa noticed the rain got through Ludwig's canvas top last time we camped. It's been nearly ten years since the top was Scotch Guarded; time to hit it again. Tater Tot explains below. (These are all her pictures.)

Does it feel good when water's in your sleeping place? No.

I hope drips of water never get in again.

It doesn't feel good when you sleep with water in your sleeping bed.

The carrots are getting big.

That's a little high up.

I wonder if fabric's in that can.

Down on the Corner, Out in the Street

One afternoon back in the Summer of 2011, Melissa yelled at me that a Google camera car was driving past our house. I didn't make it into the yard quick enough to immortalize myself with some antics, but since Google just now put up the images, at least Gertie and Ludwig have finally gotten their moment in the sun.
