Yeah, we keep another spare on the luggage rack. I'm not crazy about it (about it being there; I like the spare spare itself), but there's nowhere else to keep it at this apartment. It's held there by a couple all-rubber bungees threaded through it. It's withstood some rough roads and high speeds, so I think it's plenty secure.
The snow was really wet and heavy, and knocked over lots of branches around town. Power was out at the library so I got to go home early. I spent my impromtu afternoon off fishing in the Clark Fork, a few blocks from home.

Mama,
The snow IS beautiful. I think that what looks like the moon in that photo is actually the flash reflecting off a snowflake.

We should be getting quite a bit more snow here this week.
