Volkswagens of the Yellowstone Area

 Late Bay in West Yellowstone

Vanagon Westy in the West Thumb Geyser Basin parking lot.

Of course we had to park near this hightop, a '77 I believe (conversion company unknown) at the Fishing Bridge general store. While talking to the guy about the problems he'd run into and his plans for the rest of the day's drive, the concern/alarm on my face must've been apparent. I was truly torn between sitting down with him to get it running a little better and the needs of my own family, like, getting home before midnight.
Air-cooled Beetle and Bus owner/operators, nota bene: the seal that separates the bottom of the engine--where the hot air hangs out--from the top of the engine--from whence the fan draws cooling air--must be intact and in place at all times.

An FJ40 (the actual vehicle those ridiculous FJ Cruisers were 'inspired' by) and a Vanagon's nose in Gardiner MT.
