Did you happen to notice the New! Ludwig's Interactive Map over on the right sidebar?
If you click on the link "View Larger Map" under the little map on the sidebar, you'll be whisked away to a page that looks something like this:
Then you can click on a marker (the blue upside-down teardrops) or one of the places listed on the left to get some details on Ludwig's adventures.
It's a work in progress as we're trying to supplement some of the blog photos with additional photos of the places Ludwig's been (although you may notice some photos are duplicates).
Please check it out, and let us know what you think! (Did we mention that we like comments?)

Very nice! I loved my "guided tour" of the site yesterday. Like the map. How many miles does Ludwig have on him anyway? Are you responsible for the bulk of the mileage or was most of it logged prior to you owning him?
nutty knitter,
I'm glad you like the map. I think it's pretty nice too, but I have to give Mitch most of the credit since it was his idea.
Ludwig's odomoter shows about 17,000 miles. We've had him since it read 10,000 miles. So he has actually seen 117,000 or 217,000 total miles of driving. Mitch guesses it's closer to 217,000 miles of road due to his age and wear (mostly the wear).
BUT his engine only has about 7,000 miles on it while his transmisison has only been present for the last 1,500 miles, so he's young at heart.

I'm pretty sure we haven't even put close to as many miles on him as McDonald did (I seem to remember that the odometer rolled over on McDonald's watch).
Given the expected life of an original 1974 transaxle (ca. 250,000mi), I'm reasonably certain he has 217,000 miles on him.
Alright,
Mitch.
