It looks like it's a Canadian model. I hope that we can manage the switch from cooking in Fahrenheit to cooking in Celsius. I got it home and fired it up, and it worked perfectly. And it was really clean, looking barely used or at least well-kept. Best of all, it fits perfectly in the cabinet thingy above Ludwig's icebox.

That's a fantastic craigslist find! Just last night I found some new car ramps on the list. After I bought them I spent the ride home thinking about how fast John Osborne would back the beetles up onto the ramps at his shop. I remember being terrified the first time I saw him do it...I thought that maybe the throttle was stuck and he was going to launch off the back. But he had some innate sense of where to mash the brake so that car would not become airborne.
