We had snow here in Utah too. I went out and bought a new heater cable as soon as I could, my new bug had a snapped cable. Sure makes a difference having both sides work. I have defiantly been impressed with my little car's heater, you are right these VW heaters work really well when set up properly. I've been grateful for it with this cold front we have been having.
