Lake, Canyon, Mammoth, and the Roosevelt Arch

With some nudging, E earned her Yellowstone Junior Ranger patch. Stinker earned a commendation for her geyserlike drooling.

Melissa plied Ludwig along the shores of Yellowstone Lake on the way to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

Once we got there, E was enthusiastic about the canyon. She's always more enthusiastic about things while they're happening, usually not after and only very, very rarely before. A real naysayer, a real negative Nelly, this one. It's a total mystery where she gets it.

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, ft. Lower Falls.

Stinkerton looks stressed, but actually she's merely delivering a raspberry.

We stopped for dinner at Mammoth Hot Springs. The impending hour and our many past visits to MHS kept us from activities besides eating this time.

And that's that for this trip to Yellowstone. Thanks, Ludwig.

Google Maps is really problematic for making maps in Yellowstone (and surely other places), for reasons that I'm sure are stupid. So no map this time; sorry.

I think I have an idea of where Esme got her Negative Nelly. First, from her grandma, then from her Daddy. :)
