So is that like an after market kit on the front end. It looks like fiberglass and there is no bumper. Or is that just how a super beetle looks without the bumper?
As the kids say, "my bad". I see now (told you I didn't care about Supers) that it does have some weird hood on it, with those indentations and all. Other than that, it looks like your basic Super Beetle front end with all the holes filled in.

That's what Super Beetles look when they've had their bumpers removed, and had the bumper mounting holes filled in, and their apron louvers filled in.
